Game Session #12: Citadel Ruins and Unfolding the Lie

Across the swampy jungle, the crew comes to the edge of a large stony plain. Xendra gestures across it making the drow sign for death.

The party quickly learn that the stony plain has dangerous magical properties. Wind traveling across the plain cause magical blue lines to flare brightly and cut anything in its path. Its a mad and painful race across the plain. Magical speed aids all in crossing!

At the foot of a mile long hole, a distant fiery bottom can be seen. Down some circular stairs an entrance into the ruins of the citadel is found.

Inside, a maze with magical confusion awaits. Mosaics paint the picture of stories told and retold over the ages by drow ancestors. The lie unfolds.

Enter red-eyed medusa construct! One crazy idea and a mad dash to escape a collapsing ceiling, the crew find them in another part of the maze.

With a giant stone hand hefted, a door is opened. Inside the dimly lit room, the shapes of large ships can be made out!
