The body of the interrogated Sahuagin Bull is tossed overboard. The liberated sea elf captive, from islands off the coast of Stormreach, is set free. Along with gold and valuables a Trident of Serenity and a Rod of Surprises are found in the sahuagin outpost stores!
After returning the drow captives to their village, Xendra the drow native asks to come with them back to their cove.
At the cove, the airship hovers as Inquistor Strosler and the Puck investigate the strange heavily-shod boot prints left in the sand.
Strosler and Puck follow the tracks into the jungle to a bare rocky outcrop where the tracks end. Upon their return to the beach Puck carefully investigates the landing struts for their ship on the beach. It explodes in a ball of flame. Puck survives the dual blasts but all that is left of his Bracers of Armor are blackened tattered remains.
Climbing back up to the ship, Puck and Strosler both shout a warning as they spot, high in the sky above, the distinct flare of an active fire-elemental ring. "We've got company!!" Strosler yells.
Swinging the ship out over the bay of the cove, Puck and Strosler begin lashing rope about the barrels floating at the mouth of the cove. The six barrels of alchemist fire are gingerly loaded onto the deck of the ship and stowed.
Squeezing as much power as he can, Geekz sends the airship climbing straight up into the air to intercept the incoming airship! A harrowing minute passes as the distant airship dives for their position, a smoky guttering flame ring and condensing contrails streaming behind!
The airship is recognized as the Stormcrow, the airship that they had escaped from when they left the excavation site. At the prow, a wand-wielding figure stands. Behind stand several warforged amongst the crew of 20+ deckhands.
An exciting and aerial-batic battle ensues!! (to be covered in a short narrative, it was that good)
The two flaming halves of the Stormcrow plummet into the ocean taking most of her crew. Two warforged and a Juggernaught featherfall into the ocean and sink to the bottom along with the airship.
Strosler's body drifts in the ocean as Puck floats down and swims to him, finding him still breathing but unconscious. High above the ancient airship still flies, though a bit damaged.
In the distance another airship can be seen rapidly approaching, the white of its air-elemental ring difficult to distinguish. Flags at the prow and midship can almost be made out...
